What is self storage ?
Self storage allows you to rent a private storage room ranging from 1 to 50 square meters, by the week, by the month or for any period that you wish. You can freely access your storage room without any additional costs, from 6 am. to 10 pm., 7 days a week. What is the size of the storage boxes ?
The size of our 1m3 locker is 1x1x1 m.
Storage rooms have a ground surface ranging from 1 to 50 square meters, and average heights between 2, 4 and 3 meters. Certain storage units have a height of up to 5 meters.

How much does it cost ?
Prices start from CHF 49.- per month for a locker. A storage space of 3m3 is available for CHF 67.- per month and even CHF 61.- per month for a longer rental period. Our prices are calculated based on volume, and the rate is digressive according to the volume. Prices are also based on the method of payment. We have a wide range of storage units available. Are there additional costs?
We ask that you provide a guaranty deposit equivalent to a month’s fee for the space that you will rent. It will be refunded to you upon the restitution of the key and after your storage unit has been emptied. Aside from the monthly rent for your storage unit and insurance when it applies, there are no additional costs. There are no entry or exit costs related to the storage unit and the lock and key are provided free of charge.

What about insurance?
Any stored merchandise or personal belongings have to be insured against the risks of fire, water damage and theft.
If you are a business and are renting a space with us, you are generally covered under your company insurance policy that covers this type of risk.
If you are renting space for yourself and are storing all of your belongings at Zebrabox, you may ask your insurance company to transfer the location of the insured goods to our address.
If you do not have the necessary insurance coverage, you need to subscribe to one with Zebrabox. It is an easy solution for you and our rates are favorable and competitive.

What is the minimum stay required ?
For storage units of less than 12m3, the minimum stay required is one month. For larger rooms, the minimum is one week.

What is the cancellation policy ?
You can cancel your contract at any time, provided you give us a 15 day notice before the end of your contract (for long term contracts, specific conditions apply).

Can I reserve a storage unit ?
If you do not need a storage unit right away, you may reserve it for a later date. A deposit equivalent to one month’s rent is required at the time of reservation.

Can you accept delivery in my absence ?
For our business clients, we can accept delivery of merchandise that has been sent to you to our address. This can save you valuable time. For further details, please contact us.

How much time in advance should I reserve a storage room ?
You can usually get a storage room according straight away according to availability. We recommend however that you reserve as soon as possible so that we can help you get the storage unit that best corresponds to your needs.

Can I work in my personal storage space ?
Our storage rooms are mainly organized to store goods. They are not workshops. However, you can conduct any handling related to organizing your storage activities, filing, making order in your storage area or any little work that does not create any nuisance to your neighbors.

What can I store in my storage unit ?
You may store anything you wish, except perishable goods, dangerous (toxic, corrosive, volatile or flammable) goods, or any good that would create a nuisance for neighboring customers. Other goods which are not suitable for self-storage would be ammunition, living or dead animals or anything that requires special storage regulations, or any goods for which possession is prohibited by law.

How and when can I access my storage unit ?
You can have access to the building with an entry code or an access card. Your storage unit is locked with an individual key.
Access is possible 7 days a week, from 6 am to 10 p.m. Access hours can be extended in certain special cases.

Should I transport my belongings myself or can moving be organized for me ?
You can use your own means of transport if you wish to do so. You will find loading carts for loading and unloading your vehicle and bringing your effects to your personal storage room. If you need a van, you can rent it from us at a competitive rate.
